Lost on Channel four was hyped up something crazy and it was looking pretty good with plenty of action and glimpses of potential nudity but then whatr happened…. Giant Polar bears… get real. What a load of crap (I’ll probably still watch it though).

the pilot 2 parter wasn’t half bad, but you don’t get to see anything of the “animals” … or did i blink and miss an actual shot of the polar bear, rather than the guy *saying* it’s a polar bear?
the 3rd episode i think will set the pattern for the coming weeks: we’ll get a slow exploration of each character’s past, with just three or four minutes of actual “what happens on the island” plot. at least the characters all seem morally ambiguous, so that’s a bonus…though i keep seeing the guy from LOTR and thinking “hobbit!”
for poor saps like me who haven’t jumped on the whole digital tv bandwagon yet, it’s still the best show you can get on terrestrial telly…i’m holding out for an “island of doctor moreau” type revelation.
Polar Bear in the jungle?!?!?!?
this programme doesn’t make sense.
POLAR bear…. POLAR!
