    That is a hack and a half….
    Maybe its just me but Im noticing quite a bit of backlash around the net towards PHP lately. Is it just because of its huge install base and easy to pick up syntax? or have PHP’s flaws always been there but we’ve been distracted by all the great functionality and ease of use? Who knows….

    I too am starting to notice a bit of that, I have always liked PHP and I think it’s just like all other languages, they all have flaws.

    I managed to solve the problem above by not using the MagpieRSS library and writing a parser that could handle turkish characters (more on that in another post).

    @Jarrad- OSMSoftware has been “Launching soon” for a while now.. the suspense is killing me, Also Joel’s book is well worth buying… he’s an excellent writer.

    @Phil: The suspense is killing me too! I spent some money and actually had it designed by a professional, just havn’t had time to put it togethor :(
